- Sometimes referred to as the Walking Foot, The Even Feed Foot is designed with a set of feed dogs which allow the fabric to feed without shifting the fabric.
- It eliminates the problem of the under layer of fabric coming up short.
- The Even Feed Foot is also great for topstitching.
- It eliminates seam allowance bulk around collars and reveres.
The Even Feed Foot, sometimes referred to as the walking foot, is designed with a set of upper feed dogs. Layered fabric can be sewn smoothly as the layers are gripped by both the upper and lower feed dogs and are fed evenly for the length of the seam. The open toe makes it easy to see the stitches. Use the quilting guide for perfectly spaced parallel lines of stitching.
