This clever tool will help you achieve success when sewing and quilting. Step-by-step, you enter the basic information on your sewing project via descriptive icons, choose the fabric type, and specify the nature of your project – and the Creative Consultant will show you which combination of needle, presser foot and thread is best suited to your project, and which stitch patterns are available for it. The BERNINA 550 QE not only offers an excellent ‘jump-start“ for novices – it also lends a hand to experienced sewers with troubleshooting when there’s a problem with fabric feed, when the thread forms loops, or when the needle used doesn’t seem to suit the fabric.
