Sax Gyotaku Original Fish Print Models may be rolled with paint or printing ink using a foam brayer. Historically, Japanese fishermen made fish prints to record the size and species of the fish they caught. Today, this process has been translated into an exciting art form, with no fish to catch. Our set of 6 includes painted turtle, bull frog, alligator, horseshoe crab, grass frog and gecko. Gyotaku will stimulate learning about Japanese culture and fish anatomy while facilitating exciting art projects. Realistic fish prints can be done on Sax true print paper, rice paper, fabric, T-shirts and more. Sold per set of 6.
