Magnet requires direct and full contact with steel for full effect, therefore it is best to make sure that magnet is flat. Apply magnet s dark gray side to large metal surface for several hours to flatten curl. Do not roll magnet sheet in opposite direction to remove curl. Cut magnet with heavy duty scissors or hobby knife.

Minimum cut size recommended is 1′ square or 3′ x 5′ for auto magnet. Magnet & adhesive work best when applied at above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The adhesive is a pressure sensitive acrylic type. Apply photos, stickers or other flat, light weight items to the adhesive side of the magnet by peeling back the white paper liner from the adhesive, placing item on adhesive, and apply plenty of pressure. The adhesive has some initial tack but requires 36 hours to dry. Magnet sheet has multiple-Poles on one side so its strength is evenly distributed across the surface prevents it from sliding down a vertical surface. Magnet sheet will not hold other magnets well. To cover and hold to a vent, the magnet needs enough flat solid steel area (with-out holes) around vent to provide holding strength required. If magnet is applied to auto paint, remove magnet, clean magnet & paint with mild detergent, allow both to dry and re-apply weekly.
